#JnJWinterWonders!

Monday, December 04, 2017

I was kindly invited by the wonderful ladies at Red Consultancy to attend the #JnJWinterWonders event, which was lovely.
I was able to have a look at the products available on display and to find out more about how they work on the skin. I was already familiar with most of the brands available, and it was great to get a feel of the Winter Wonders campaign. Plus, I was able to get myself booked in for a manicure!

As I'm sure most of us know, winter is awful on skin, and the chill can cause it to dry out. I found out some interesting facts too. Did you know:
- 27% of women change their bathroom routine in line with the seasons.
- Skin loses more than 25% of its ability to hold moisture in the winter.
- 38% of women think that their environment is the most important factor in determining the appearance of the skin on their face.

Thankfully, the products by the Johnson & Johnson brands provide protection against the cold weather, as well as fighting common skin problems and combating the effects pollution has on the skin (as someone who lives in London, this is something that I find to be an issue.)

Luckily, I was gifted some lovely skincare items, and here they are!

Aveeno Active Naturals Skin Relief Nourishing Lotion (With) Shea Butter
This nourishing notion has an oatmeal formula mixed with shea butter to give smooth and moisturising skin and to protect the skin from dryness. I recommend applying this after a shower or a bath. I've been using this and it makes my skin feel smooth - and smelling like oats!

Neutrogena Hand Cream
This hand cream has always been the classic go-to product for me from a young age. I'm prone to dry hands in the winter so the Neutrogena Hand Cream is great for me as it provides immediate and lasting relief, making my hands soft and smooth.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost City Shield Hydrating Lotion
Living in a polluted city like London can have a detrimental effect on the skin. The Hydro Boost City shield protects against that - as well as sun damage - and it keeps the skin hydrated.

Neutrogena Deep Moisture Comfort Balm Cream Comfort
This is another favourite of mine - it's fresh, rich and creamy and it absorbs into the skin, leaving it feeling soft. It's best to apply this after a bath or shower.

Clean & Clear Essential Clear Skin Starter Kit
If you suffer from breakouts like I do, then I'd recommend trying out the Clean & Clear Essential Clear Skin Starter Kit, which contains: the Exfoliating Daily WashDeep Action Facial Wipes and Dual Action Moisturiser. The Exfoliating Daily Wash clears out pores, the Deep Action Facial Wipes cleanses the face of impurities and the Dual Action Moisturiser adds moisture to the face to keep it soft and smooth.
