#PurePlantMagic: The Afro Hair and Skin Company*

Wellness is a topic that I'm taking a greater interest in. I think it's so important to take care of yourself and your (physical and mental) health. Just as it's great to look good on the outside, it's just as important to feel good on the inside.

When I first discovered The Afro Hair and Skin Company, I was really drawn to the brand. Established by Ibi in Sussex, the company sells handmade natural and organic hair and skincare products for black women, all of which are made in England.

The products are:
- Highly nourishing
- 100% plant based
- Eco-friendly
- Non-toxic
- Vegan and cruelty-free
- Full of goodness

Best of all, the products are full of ingredients and are kind, gentle and healthy to the skin and hair.

I was sent the Perfectly Balanced Facial Oil*, the Totally Nourishing Hair Butter* and the Omega Healthy Hair Oil.*

Out of all the items I'd received, this one is certainly my favourite. Containing blackcurrant seed, ylang-ylang and frankincense oils, this is perfect for balancing the skin and leaving your face with a pretty glow. I apply this as part of my evening cleansing routine - once I've washed my face and it's a bit damp, I massage the oil onto my face and neck.

With a rich blend of organic walnut butter and camelina, flax and poppy flower seed oils, this creamy hair butter melts into the hair and leaves afro hair feeling soft and nourished. It's best to apply this daily to damp hair (from root to tip) to achieve the desired effect.

A carefully selected blend of plant seed oils, the Omega Healthy Hair Oil soothes and strengthens afro hair. It's great for combatting dryness (an issue I have with my hair), dealing with breakage and making hair easier to maintain and manage. The Omega Healthy Hair Oil is perfect for providing a protective element to the hair, as well as adding elasticity.

If you're looking for a one-stop destination for natural, organic and cruelty-free products for hair and skin, then The Afro Hair and Skin Company is your best bet!

*Thank you to Ibi for gifting me these wonderful items to test out!
