Hair Care Travel Essentials With Afrocenchix*

Finding the perfect travel essentials for afro hair can sometimes feel like a bit of a tough challenge, but luckily, I've discovered a set that might just be perfect for those of you who are going on holiday, have afro hair and are looking for the right essentials for your makeup bag.

Afrocenchix is a brand that I discovered at the Black British Bloggers' Social event. The award-winning brand, which is all about making natural simple, was founded by Rachael Corson and Joycelyn Mate and sells high-quality, gentle and natural hair care products for afro and curly hair.

This is the perfect set if you are looking for travel products to take with you on the go. They help to keep afro hair in check, leaving it feeling moisturised and maintaining the condition of the hair. The products are also free from sulphates, parabens, artificial fragrances and harsh chemicals, and the products contain a blend of essential oils. Plus, the items are small enough to fit into your hand luggage.
I must admit, I don't like the scent very much - it's just not in line with my preference. It (kind of) has a citrus scent, which isn't much of a favourite of mine. However, the products are natural and they work effectively to help retain the hair's moisture, and for someone like myself who has afro hair, that is essential to the health and care of my hair.

The Mini Swish Sulphate-Free Moisturising Shampoo has been formulated with fruity essential oils to cleanse the hair and scalp of impurities and buildup while helping to maintain moisture. The Mini Soothe Natural Scalp Oil is absorbent and it helps to soothe the scalp and relieve dryness. The Mini Seal Natural Hair Oil helps to lock in moisture and maintain retention. It contains coconut and jojoba oils, which helps to nourish hair and give it a bit of a shine. The Mini Smooth Natural Moisturising Cream works well as a leave-in conditioner. It has a 'smoothing' effect on the hair and is perfect for softening the hair before styling. The Mini Sheen Natural Moisturising Spray provides hair with nourishment and protection from breakage. It is a light, weightless and refreshing spray that moisturises dry strands. Also, it contains aloe vera and grape seed, which both help to revitalise your protective styles such as twists and braids. I actually tried this product on my braids when I attended the Black British Bloggers event and I really liked how refreshing it was on my hair.

I think that these products are great additions for your hair and beauty travel set if you're going away on holiday. Maintaining your haircare regimen is essential no matter where you are in the world so the travel set is fantastic for keeping your hair in check when travelling abroad.

What are your favourite travel essentials for your hair?
