4 Natural And Non-Invasive Alternatives To Lip Fillers

Hello all!

Things have been busy for me at the moment. I've been quite preoccupied and I've been staying focused on my professional life.

As you know (or may not know) I work as a freelance creative copywriter, writing copy and content for various clients, as well as doing a little bit of social media stuff alongside that. I've literally spent my time working from my desk at home, doing admin work, sending out emails filing my tax return and writing articles, with a couple of my favourite Spotify playlists on full blast. (Honestly, I recommend This Is: George Michael and the Soul Grooves album if you need music to listen to and to help keep you focused.) I've also gone to networking events, and I have some more networking events to attend this month so I've super excited and hyped up for those!

Even though I've been quite busy over the past few weeks, things have been up and down, which comes with being a freelancer. Even so, I have no regrets about freelancing and it's been an interesting journey. Yes it's a bit unsteady at times (is there such a thing as job stability anymore?) and I've made so many mistakes as a freelance writer, but it's a learning curve and I'm so glad I'm my own boss, even though it's hard work.

Best of all, I've decided to niche down and specialise, which I'll speak about on this blog in due course. I've decided to focus on becoming a freelance beauty writer (with a bit of fashion and lifestyle thrown into the mix). This has always been a dream of mine, and I'm gradually acquiring beauty writing work. However, I hope to achieve more opportunities and I hope to turn freelance beauty writing into a full-time lucrative venture. I'm hardworking, ambitious and determined to achieve my goal, so here's hoping things pick up over the next few months!

Anyway, enough rambling and let's get straight to the point of this post. Since I decided to specialise I've been cold-emailing, sending off proposals and applying for freelance beauty writing work. Lo and behold - I have managed to gain a couple of clients already! I've worked on a couple of projects and I'm so glad about that. I've written an article for Lady Qs about how to achieve the perfect look for your lips without having to resort to expensive (and potentially risky) fillers. Now, don't get me wrong - I don't think there's anything wrong with having lip fillers if you want them. However, for those who are looking to achieve the look without having to inject anything, there are other ways of getting fuller lips.
