I love blogging!

I'm sure you guys have figured that out by now. If you haven't, then where on Earth have you been?

I've written similar posts previously on my love for blogging - check out the links below.

I love blogging because it has given my the space and the chance to write about my passions. I love beauty and fashion and it's so hard to get a job as a fashion and beauty writer so I guess this is (kind of) a way to be able to write about my favourite things and create a job for myself in the process.

I love blogging because it's given me a platform. I now feel able to express my opinions, feelings and emotions without bottling them up and as a writing I like to put my thoughts into words. I can write about what I want whenever I want! Blogging is a creative outlet, and after spending so much of my life having my creative side stifled it's so nice to embrace that side of myself.

I love blogging because it's given me some great opportunities. I have been able to work with some wonderful brands in the process.

I love blogging because it's meant that I've become a part of a community full of bloggers and girl bosses who are creating their own lives and doing things for themselves. I've always struggled with fitting into things or fitting in with groups of people so it's nice to be a part of a community that represents me and accepts me for who I am.

I love blogging because it's been my fall-back. When I was having issues at university my blog was my fall-back. When I was messed around in my job after graduation my blog was my fall-back. It's kind of weird to say this, but my blog is my special baby (and my only baby) and it's the only thing that's been there for me when horrible people were trying to tear me down and tear down my passions and ambitions.

Last point but not least, I love blogging because it's given me a purpose. It's given me something to focus on and it's given me something to be proud of. I started it as a hobby but now it's led me onto a career as a freelance writer, and I am so grateful for that.
