#GGBlogChallenge + Who Am I + What Have I Been Up To?

Hello all. I have decided - quite randomly - to complete the #GGBlogChallenge.
This is where I am supposed to write a series of posts over the course of the month. I will write a series of posts here and there but they will be equivalent to a month's worth of content, if that makes sense.

I think this challenge is supposed to be completed during the month of September, but I don't think it really matters. I felt inspired to do this by Sally (of Little Budget blog) so I shall go ahead and proceed.

So I think I better start of by speaking a little bit about myself and what I have been up to recently.

My name is Chichi and I am from London.

I graduated last July from the University of Leeds with a 2:1 in Politics and Sociology.

I lived in Leeds for over four years, but I decided to move back to London because a lot of bad stuff had gone on in my life and I was sick and tired of living a life of misery. I was messed around and out down in my previous job and I had spent years living in houseshares and flatshares with horrible, vicious and nasty people. It got to a point where, for me, enough was enough, and I was so done.

I now work as a freelance copywriter. I specialise in writing content and copy for a variety of brands and clients.

I am working extremely hard to become a full-time freelancer. Here's hoping that will become a reality in the near future. For now, I need to work in order to have a stable income.

I want to learn how to drive.

I want to learn how to play the piano.

I am trying to teach myself Spanish.

I am trying to get into the habit of jogging an hour a day.

I like the colour purple.

I am an introvert.

I love completing wordsearches.

I am a bit of a bookworm but I need to read more books!

I identify as a black feminist, and in my final year of university I joined the Black Feminist Society.

I love love love Nandos. Seriously.

I am totally obsessed with fashion and beauty.

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air is one of my favourite shows of all time.

I  still watch cartoons.

And what else? I am slowly building my own empire.

That is all.
