A while ago (on Saturday 18th March 2016) I took a trip to the QE2 Centre in St James' Park (near Westminster) and I attended the BlogConLDN event!
The event was organised by Scarlett Dixon (of Scarlett London). She organises events for bloggers and I'd been to one of her previous events before - the Bloggers' Festival in 2015.

First of all, I just want to say that this event was absolutely amazing and I was buzzing (but exhausted) at the end of it. Scarlett is really good at organising blogger events and I really feel as though I gained so much from BlogConLDN. It was a great opportunity and I felt more motivated make my blog the best it can be. Plus, I want to go to more blogging events! As I live in London now I have more chances to do this.

Anyway, back on topic. So many bloggers attended the event and that was great - I even saw some familiar faces. I was so happy to meet other bloggers. I find it a little bit hard to meet new people who are like myself and as I freelance and work remotely, I am not often in face-to-face contact with others, so it's nice to meet other bloggers and people who share the same interests that I posses.

There were a number of brands present too: Chi Chi London (I told them my name!), Exuviance, Protein Dynamix, Merumaya, Lola's Apothecary, Love Inc, Johnny Loves Rosie, Lipivir, Big Sexy Hair, and many others. Many of the brand owners were lovely to chat to. That's the thing I love about these kind of events: it's a chance to meet the faces behind the brands and to negotiate potential collaboration opportunities.

There were also a number of talks hosted by top bloggers, vloggers and digital media influencers, as well as business owners who had stands at the event. The talks focused on hints and tips for bloggers and content creators and I found these talks helpful, inspiring and informative.

All in all, I really enjoyed the event. It was wonderful. I network quite often but I don't often get the chance to go to blogger events. It was so lovely to network with brands and PRs and to interact with other bloggers. I felt at ease and I came away from the event feeling happy, positive and motivated to make my blog a success!

Here are some pictures from the event.

I didn't get a full picture of my outfit, but you can shop for a similar look here:

Once again, thank you so much to Scarlett for organising this fantastic event, and thank you to all the brands and content creators who were present.
