Destinations: The Holiday and Travel Show

A few weeks ago I attended the Destinations: The Holiday and Travel Show in Kensington Olympia.

I was in need of travel inspiration, plus as I am trying to get into travel writing I wanted to come up with some ideas for creating travel content.

I have a massive interest in travel but I had never been to a travel convention before. There were so many travel companies there, as well as some seminars and talks.

The event was so busy and it was lively. I managed to get chatting to some of the representatives there, and that was great because I received information on different locations and different types of travel. I think that's one of the best things about travel: there are so many things to see, do and visit and there is no limit. I collected so many catalogues too!

Some reps were really lovely, but some where not very interested in interacting with visitors, which was such a shame because that was a missed opportunity. Plus it gives off a bad impression and it shows a lack of interest in the consumers.

Overall, it was a very good event, and it left me feeling inspired. I would love to attend more travel events this year and I want to write more about travel, so keep your eyes focused on this blog.

Have you ever been to a travel convention?
