Blogmas Day 13: Christmas Bucket List (Travel Edition)

It's the most wonderful time of the year and there are so many fantastic places to visit during Christmastime.
London is a great place to be at Christmas but there are so many other places in the world to explore, so here is my Christmas bucket list - the travel edition!

New York City
I'm pretty sure that for many people, visiting New York City in the lead up to Christmas would be the ultimate dream. I know it is for myself! I'd love to visit The Big Apple and explore Central Park, view window displays along 5th Avenue, join in the Thanksgiving Parade and book a hotel with the best views of the city.

Germany is famous of its Christmas markets. Sure, you can pop over to your local one in your nearest city - I've been to German Christmas markets in Leeds and at Winter Wonderland in London - but I really want the authentic experience: sizzling and tasty sausages, mulled wine and gingerbread. Some of the best locations for the Christmas markets include Berlin, Rothenburg, Dresden, Munich, Cologne, Stuttgart and Frankfurt. The best thing? Germany is a quick plane ride away.

Okay, obviously place is in the North-West of England, not abroad. However, Manchester is a thriving city with a lot of hustle and bustle, and it has plenty of tourist attractions and various Christmas hotspots, including the markets, Santa's Grotto, theatre shows and shops.

Where would you like to visit at Christmastime?
