Halloween Made Easy!

Saturday, October 29, 2016

Halloween is one of the best times of the year to get dolled up and experiment with various makeup trends and outfits, including creating the 'face' you want for Halloween, so here are some ideas...

The witch cat
The witch cat is a simple yet bold look for Halloween. Use Seventeen's Make Your Mark Soft Eyeliner Pen to create the cat-eye look, along with the cat's nose and whiskers. Finish off with a Long Lash Mascara.

The cobweb eye look
This is a another spooky look to try out. Use the Eye Kohl Pencil and start drawing spiderwebs around each eye. Start from the inner corners of the eyes then gradually make your way around. For dramatic effect, add 'frost bites' to each web by using the Eye Eye Crayon in shade IcedFinish off the look by adding the Long Lash Mascara and accessorising with spider-shaped earrings.

Harley Quinn
Supervillain Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad is one of the most copied characters for Halloween. You've probably seen tutorials on how to re-create her look (I'd recommend watching Em Ford's video on how to do this) but it's quite easy. Use the Mega Matte Lipstick in the shades Roses are Red or Roija Your World to create a bold red lip. Then apply red and blue eyeshadow from the Easy on the Eye The Big Smoke Palette by Seventeen Cosmetics and smudge around the eyes. Then add Eye Kohl on the eyebrows for big bold brows. Finally, add a heart beneath your eye to complete the look using eyeliner pen and don't forget to add black mascara to your lashes.

Other ideas:

- Cruella De Ville: black and white wig, green sparkly eyeshadow and a bold red lip - plus a dalmatian print faux fur coat.
- Mermaid: pastel-coloured wig, cheek highlighters, shimmer eyeshadow and glitter lip gloss.
- Jessica Rabbit: light purple eyeshadow, black winged eyeliner, black long length mascara and dark red lipstick. Plus a lot sparkly red flock and a pair of stilettos.

Whether you are staying in to watch a horror movie or going out to a party, these looks are so easy to try out and they are pretty cool!

Happy Halloween! Which look will you try out?
