Treatwell Event at RMUK, Leeds

Thursday, March 31, 2016

On Tuesday 22nd March 2016 I attended the Treatwell Event at RMUK, Leeds.

For those of you who may not (or may) be aware, Treatwell (formally known as Wahanda) is an app (and a website) that allows you to search for hair and beauty treatments in your local area, and allows you to book a treatment directly from the app.  This makes life easier because you can find local salons and spas and make bookings all in one place.

RMUK is a hair and beauty salon located on Great George Street in the city centre of Leeds.  The salon offers a number of treatments, so there's a lot of choice if you want to treat yourself and get pampered!  The salon has a luxurious feel to it, and it's in the perfect location (I'd recommend visiting the salon in the summer because there are some because surroundings in that particular location.)

When I got there I was greeted politely by the staff, and I was offered some Prosecco and a number of treatments, such as getting my hair done, getting a massage and doing my nails.  I decided to get my nails done (by a lovely manicurist named Jo) and I must say, the nail bar is to die for!  It's so sophisticated!

Also, the salon has a bar and a terrace area, so you can relax and have a drink with friends!

Overall, I had a great time at the salon and I was so glad to attend the Treatwell event.  I met so many people there - the staff at RMUK, the staff at Treatwell, the CEO and Founder of Treatwell, some of the cast of Emmerdale and the Beauty Editor of Treatwell (she's formerly the editor of Grazia!) I also learned a lot - about Treatwell, about getting into the media industry and beauty tips - so that's great.

I would definitely recommend going to RMUK and I would definitely recommend downloading the Treatwell app.

A big thank you to the staff at RMUK for the wonderful event, and a massive thank you to Holly Casswell from SKV Communications for inviting me!
