On Thursday 11th February 2016 I attended the Leeds Rag Fashion Show at the University of Leeds.

It was my first time attending the event, and I quite liked it!  It was really enjoyable!

For those who may not be familiar with the event, the Leeds Rag Fashion Show (LRFS for short) is one of the biggest fashion events at the University of Leeds and one of the biggest fashion events in Leeds!  It occurs once a year and it is run in aid of some fantastic causes - all ticket sales go to charitable causes.  This year the money from the ticket sales will be donated to the Refugee Council and Mencap, a charity aimed at helping disabled people live relatively normal lives.

The catwalk show has a number of themes and scenes: Expect Resistance, Kaleidoscope, Interval, Peace for the People, What's On Your Mind? and Born Naked.

The show was very entertaing and exciting and it also included some performances too.  Then at the end the LRFS committee gave us an emotional speech about the charitable causes LRFS supports and stands for.

Here are some of the pictures from the show.

All in all, the show was fantastic, and it was clearly that months of extremely hard work had gone into pulling off an amazing show!  Also, the main objective of the show is to raise money for charitable causes and that's just great!
