My Recent Purchases: New Look, Tanya Burr, Ilamasqua, Flutter and Doll White

Lately I have been treating myself (a lot) to some lovely goodies!  I work very hard and I recently got three jobs (yes, three) working as an ambassador for three different companies, so I feel as though I deserve to treat myself to some well-earned treats!

New Look Mint Green Mini Tote Bag
New Look has an sale going on at the moment, and the website has some nice, high-quality bags on sale - which you can check out here.  I ordered this bag recently and I am so pleased with it.  Even though it is a 'mini tote' it is big enough for all of my daily essentials and more!  Unfortunately I can't find the link to the bag (I think it's sold out) but you can buy a similar one here.

Here is the same bag in a different colour.

I am also lusting after this burgundy backpack!

Beauty blogger and YouTuber Tanya Burr has a fantastic cosmetics collection which is available to buy right now, but the best thing is that she has a Christmas collection available for purchase as well! The Christmas collection has a range of gift sets and an advent calender (£15 - down from £25 at Superdug) which I'm thinking about buying.  I can't wait to try out the sugar plum nail polish (yay for berry nail polish) and the stickers to make nails look pretty!

In my Bloggers' Festival goodybag I had a lot of samples to test, including a sample from Doll White UK.  If you haven't heard of Doll White, it's a brand that sells non-peroxide teeth whitening strips.  I  have always wanted to whiten my teeth (I hate how discoloured they are) but I have always avoided doing so because 1) I can't afford to get my teeth professionally whitened by a dentist because it's so expensive, and 2) I am very wary of most whitening products anyway because of chemicals.  A lot of unlicensed places sell whitening kits which is quite dangerous.  A lot of beauty/drug stores sell whitening toothpastes but I have tried these and they don't work for me.  I think I need something more effective, hence why I ordered the Doll White strips.  I was a bit apprehensive about trying out the strips but once I tried my sample I was sold.  My teeth did whiten up a little bit and I didn't experience any adverse effects.  Being risk-averse, I went searching for reviews but I couldn't find any negative reviews on complaints.  I don't want my teeth to look too white and I don't want to try a prolonged treatment of teeth whitening so I ordered 7-day strips instead of the 14/28/42/56 day strips.  I can't wait to use them and I think I will feature the results on my blog so watch this space and keep an eye out for that!

P.S. If you want to order Doll White whitening strips, use discount code TEETH20 or INSTAGRAM to get 20% off!

I went to the #ILLAMASQUAXMOTEL event a while back and while I was there I bought the Illamasqua nail polish in Prismatic.  It's a light blue nail polish with a subtle pink shimmer, and I can't wait to use it!

If you want to treat yourself to some lovely beauty gifts which fit well within your budget, then I recommend Flutter (by Superdrug I think.)  A lot of beauty advent calenders are really pricey, but the Flutter Advent Calender fits right within my (student) budget and I can't wait to open it when December comes round!
