Top Skincare Products For Winter

When it comes to the winter season my skin, hands and my lips end up in bad condition - they get so dry.  After spending years trying out various products, I have finally found a few products that work to improve the condition of my skin, hands, nails and lips.
As my skin (especially my face) gets so dry I have to use creams and body butters to keep my skin moisturized, but I don't use just any cream, and I don't buy expensive creams as there's no point.  Normally I use Superdrug's Aqueous Cream, but alternatively I use Superdrug's Dry Skin Relief CreamSuperdrug Cocoa Butter or Superdrug Vitamin E Body Butter.  These creams and body butters leave my skin feeling soft, smooth and moisturized.

Hands (and nails)
I have to make sure my hands are not neglected as they get so dry as well as my face.  I don't have a specific or favourite product I use but sometimes I use Dove Dry Skin Hand Cream, E45 Hand Cream Repair & Protect or Neutrogena Hand Cream Original.

As for nails, I always use a base coat and a top coat when painting my nails.  I use 2True Longwearing Topcoat Shade 1 as a top coat and a base coat.  I also use nail strengthening products to help maintain and improve the condition of my nails.  I use 2True Strengthener & Hardener Shade 1 or Sally Hansen Hardasnails with Nylon.

As usual I wear lipstick or lip-gloss as part of my (minimal) makeup routine - I don't wear much makeup - but I always make sure a use of lip balm to keep my lips soft and smooth, as they crack under the cold weather.  I use Rimmel London's Keep Calm Lip Balm in Party, Kiss and Rock.  My favourite is Keep Calm And Rock!

  1. My skin tends to get SUPER dry in winter :( I've always carry a tube of hand cream with me as I hate when my skin becomes rough flaky :( X
