The British Tag

Sunday, October 12, 2014

I have seen the British Tag completed on YouTube by various vloggers - Sammi of Beautycrush, Patricia Bright and Amelia Liana - so I thought I'd complete the British Tag! Even though I haven't been tagged, I'd love to give it a try, especially as I love being British!
Here is my cup of (peppermint) tea at the ready.

How many cups of tea do you have a day?  How many sugars?
I have quite a few, and I usually drink herbal tea. I don't take any sugar.

Favourite part of a roast dinner?
All of it, especially the roast meat!

Favourite dunking biscuit?
I don't dunk biscuits in my tea, but I love eating milk chocolate digestives at the side.

Favourite quintessentially British pastime?
Eating fish and chips and going to the seaside (or both!)  I also like to go to the pub, eat roast dinner and drink a pint of beer, lager or cider.

What is your favourite word?
I don't have one!

Do you know any Cockney Rhyming slang?
Not really (I am not from the East End of London) but I a little bit.  For example I know that "Elephant's Trunk" means drunk!

Favourite sweets?
I love Tesco's strawberry pencils! I'm so addicted.  I also love Harribos and Jelly babies.

What would you name your pub (if you had one)?
I'd probably name my pub something cosy and comfy like The Inn, The Manor or The Manor House.

Who is your No.1 British person?
I have four - Keira Knightley, Dame Judi Dench, Dame Helen Mirren and Hugh Grant.

Favourite shops?
New Look, River Island and H&M.

Favourite restaurants?
They're not British but I love Frankie & Benny's and Nandos!  Also I love Chinese and Indian food!

What British song pops into your head?
Anything by Coldplay, The Spice Girls, S Club 7, Girls Aloud or Oasis.

Marmite?
No!
